I appreciate the acknowledgment of the very small role I played in the Beatles debut in the United States. However, I would prefer to privately honor not the way in which their success came about, but instead the genius that enabled four young men to create the remarkable music that continues to move us all.

The Beatles and their music will stand with Bach, Brahms and Beethoven for generations to come.
